First Grade Friendship Feast

Today the first graders gathered together for the First Grade Friendship Feast. Each class prepared a portion of the meal to be shared by all. The greens planted earlier this fall in the first grade garden beds were harvested yesterday and prepared as a delicious salad which was enthusiastically enjoyed by students! Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank You Lawrence School students!

The picnic tables are here! Lawrence School Engineering teacher Bob Porto and his students have been hard at work building 5 picnic tables just for us -- and they are lovely. Bob and about 50 other students and staff of Lawrence school marched over to the garden this morning to deliver them. Mullen-Hall 4th graders were there to meet them on behalf of the school.  Thanks also go to Cape Cod 5 for funding the materials for the tables.
